1/4 c. Chia seeds
1/2 a pack of vegan or vegetarian onion soup mix * MSG FREE please 👍
The following spices or your favorite spices to taste
1tsp each : black pepper, pink Himalayan sea salt (optional) , garlic powder
I also add a pinch of cayenne pepper to taste just to give it a little Heat 😋
1 c. Warm water or vegan or vegetarian beef broth
2Tbs. of vegetarian ,vegan or homemade ketchup
1Tbs Dijon mustard (optional)
3Tbs of Sweet Baby Ray BBQ sauce, vegan or vegetarian barbecue sauce or homemade of choice.
🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮
Preparation:
Place all the dry ingredients into a food processor or a high speed blender and process 1 or 2 seconds  just to incorporate everything and bring it down to a coarse mixture.
Whisk all the wet ingredients together.
Now pour the  wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and Incorporated into a nice mixture👍
I let mine sit at least 15 minutes to 30 minutes but you don't have to ,just to let the Chia seeds take effect a  little bit and bind like an egg would in your mixture.
While  you're Patty mixture is resting ,get a cast iron frying pan , or pan of choice and get it screaming hot 😁.
I add a little bit of oil of choice to my cast iron skillet.
Using an ice cream scoop ,or   a 1/4 c. measuring cup I make my patties. the mixture will be a little loose , but no worries all will be well. Just like you cook pancakes wait  until  one side gets cooked a little bit before you flip it so the Burger holds together. when it gets Browned  on each side, to your liking it's done😋👍Yummy.
God bless and enjoy 🌷

Vegetarian sausage oat patties rendition on a World War II recipe

🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷
1 c. Uncooked oats
The equivalent of  1 vegetarian egg substitute. Or 1 egg if you eat eggs.
1 tsp. Ground sage
1tsp. Fennel seeds or ground fennel
1tsp. Red hot pepper flakes (optional)
1 tsp. Dried parsley
1tsp. Rosemary crushed or powdered
1 tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp . Onion powder
3 Tbs water to combined patties
2Tbs. Organic maple syrup for glazed optional
2 c. Vegetarian or vegetable stock
🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖

Preparation:
Combined all the ingredients except maple syrup & vegetable stock.
Form  your patties about 2 inches in diameter. I cook mine on a cast iron skillet with just a little bit of coconut oil, I used refined coconut oil because I don't want my patties to taste like coconut.
Once the patties are well browned on both sides remove them from the pan.
While your doing this you should have a pot of the vegetable broth simmering on the stove.
Go ahead and drop your fried  patties into the  simmering broth.
Cover and simmer about 10 to 15 minutes.
Carefully remove your patties and put them on a plate. At this point you can let them cool down and freeze or refrigerate them.
If you choose to eat them immediately , once the patties are removed from the broth simply put them back on to the cast iron frying pan or your frying pan of choice brown them up and Bone appetit😋
* NOTE:
At the final pan-frying I usually glazed my sausage patties with organic maple syrup before I pan-fry them for the last time and they are so yummy God bless hugs and love to all.
And remember folks no piggy 🐷was harmed for  this recipe😁
With Love ,
Lavina🌷
