Look at things Eternal

Look at Things Eternal

We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Cor. 4:18.

If the church will put on the robe of Christ's righteousness, withdrawing from all allegiance with the world, there is before her the dawn of a bright and glorious day. God's promise to her will stand fast forever. . . . Truth, passing by those who despise and reject it, will triumph. Although at times apparently retarded, its progress has never been checked. . . . Endowed with divine energy, it will cut its way through the strongest barriers and triumph over every obstacle.
What sustained the Son of God during His life of toil and sacrifice? He saw the results of the travail of His soul and was satisfied. Looking into eternity, He beheld the happiness of those who through His humiliation had received pardon and everlasting life. His ear caught the shout of the redeemed. He heard the ransomed ones singing the song of Moses and the Lamb.
We may have a vision of the future, the blessedness of heaven. In the Bible are revealed visions of the future glory, scenes pictured by the hand of God, and these are dear to His church. By faith we may stand on the threshold of the eternal city, and hear the gracious welcome given to those who in this life co-operate with Christ, regarding it as an honor to suffer for His sake. As the words are spoken, "Come, ye blessed of my Father," they cast their crowns at the feet of the Redeemer, exclaiming, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. . . . Honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever." Matthew 25:34; Revelation 5:12, 13.
There the redeemed greet those who led them to the Savior, and all unite in praising Him who died that human beings might have the life that measures with the life of God. The conflict is over. Tribulation and strife are at an end. Songs of victory fill all heaven as the ransomed ones take up the joyful strain, Worthy, worthy is the Lamb that was slain, and lives again, a triumphant conqueror.

🎄 Twas the Night Before Christmas and I thought to myself how disgusting and Despicable the thought of Santa and his elf.🎅
It is such a shame of Satan's deceptions . He has fooled all the people in such a cunning way.  🤔
Praise the Lord for God's truth,   we know that Jesus was NOT  born on Christmas Day.😱 As a true Christian , we must remember this,  God told us in no uncertain way to learn NOT the way of the heathen and this is what he had to  say .  😇
Take heed my dear friend when you decide to do it your way. God told us that the wages of sin is death and for your Disobedience you surely will pay.😈 Because Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus in any way😱 and all it is my dear friend is another Pagan day.😨 ❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄

Are you a Christian or a pagan in disguise ? 😱🌲

Jesus was NOT born December 25th read your Bibles and wake up sheeple stop being deceived😱
🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine (he was the first Christian Roman Emperor). A few years later, Pope Julius I officially declared that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on the 25th December.

Are you up for the challenge? 🤔

Hello brothers and sisters ,
This week I challenge you as a sabbathkeeper to invite just one new friend which is a non sabbathkeeper to your friends list.
Everyday and every week I see the same people which I feel very blessed to have  befriended 😁
But the problem I see, is that we are all preaching to the choir we are all singing the same song🤔 we are not on social networks as Ordinary People, no my dear ones we are here as Fisher men for Souls spreading the seeds of God's truth letting God nurture those seeds that we plant bringing home the lost sheep to the fold this is why we're on social networks or at least that's why I'm here. Social Networks give us a tool for witnessing dear ones. We can reach people all over the world that we would never be able to reach in our neighborhoods. Praise the Lord for technology. I am a soldier for God I'm out to find lost souls. My goal is to bring glory to God every day through my life if not it would be a disgrace and a waste of the gift of life that God has given you and me we are saved by grace , but our lives are to  bring glory to GOD. sabbathkeeper posting information on the Sabbath to one another is an awesome blessing ,but what about the one person out there in the social network world that never heard of the Sabbath😱🤔? it's our job to find those lost souls and to share God's truth to the best of our abilities and with the help of the Holy Spirit that leads and guides us. we should be able to spread the loud cry louder than ever Hallelujah come Lord Jesus 💕I don't know about you brother and sisters but the louder the cry comes the sooner Jesus comes as well. So dear ones my challenge to you as I stated in the beginning let's each one of us invite just one non sabbathkeeper ,to our Christian family that we share with one another. Hugs and love to all💕 are you up for the challenge? "Maranatha" come Lord Jesus💜

💕 We have the victory in Jesus 💕

John 8:12 (KJV)
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world:

John 1:5 (KJV)
And the light shineth in darkness;
and the darkness comprehended it not.

1 John 1:7 (KJV)
But if we walk in the light, as he
is in the light, we have fellowship
one with another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ his Son
cleanseth us from all sin.

Matthew 5:16 (KJV)
Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Ephesians 5:8 (KJV)
For ye were sometimes darkness, but
now [are ye] light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:

Matthew 5:14 (KJV)
- Ye are the light of the world.
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Psalms 119:105 (KJV)
- NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.

1 John 1:5 (KJV)
- This then is the message which we have heard
of him, and declare unto you, that God is light,
and in him is no darkness at all.

Psalms 27:1 (KJV)
- ([A Psalm] of David.) The LORD [is] my light
and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD
[is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth the praises of him
who hath called you out of darkness
into his marvellous light:

Luke 11:34 (KJV)
The light of the body is the eye: therefore
when thine eye is single, thy whole body also
is full of light; but when [thine eye] is evil,
thy body also [is] full of darkness.

Ephesians 5:14 (KJV)
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest,
and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

2 Corinthians 4:6 (KJV)
For God, who commanded the light to shine out
of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to
[give] the light of the knowledge of the
glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

John 12:35 (KJV)
Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while
is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light,
lest darkness come upon you: for he that
walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

DANCE OF DEATH

    THE DANCE OF DEATH!

In Autumn time the leaves are falling one by one.
It isn't long before the trees are bare.
And as they fall - the leaves are dancing in the air
And yet I know the Dance of Death is there.

This is the world's great golden autumn day.
Everyone is doing as they please.
And as they break from God and drift away,
They are like the dying autumn leaves.
If you want to leave the branch of truth today,
And do the things - deep down you know are wrong,
The winter wind will catch you as you break away,
And for you the dance of death is on.
To be an evergreen was God's great plan for you.
To live with Him Eternal years and more.
Yet year - by year you've broken loose and proved untrue.
Each wasted day, a leaf, upon the floor.

Do you love your religion more than God?

When Christians Love Their Religion More Than Their God

Instead of promoting Christ, Christians often promote …

their theology

their culture

their values

their creeds

their traditions

their spiritual practices

their specific type of baptism

their required form of communion

their style of sermon

their church

their denomination

their definition of salvation

their philosophy of evangelism

their form of ministry

their brand of worship

their interpretation of Revelation

their interpretation of the Bible

their favorite leadership model

their social customs

their laws, rules, and regulations

their political beliefs

their moral values

Imagine if Christians introduced people to theirGod instead of their religion.

Unfortunately, we often evangelize our own specific type of Christianity to other Christiansrather than sharing the Gospel with unbelievers — preferring to convert, criticize, and attack our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ because we feel their version of Christianity isn’t as good asours.

In a pluralistic society obsessed with consumerism, marketing, entertainment, and comfort, it’s tempting for Christians to endorse unique attributes of their specific church, community, traditions, and faith instead of actually introducing people to God.

When this happens, the Gospel of Christ gets manipulated from something profound into a superficial sales pitch that’s commoditized to fulfill an array of selfish desires.

A particular brand of Christianity is propagated above all others — being worshipped and valued even more than God. We lose focus on the centrality of Jesus and obsess over the infinitedifferences within Christendom.

Instead of being unified in Christ, we’re divided by our distinctions — our beliefs become a form of idolatry.

Rifts are created, fractures occur, and theological wars are waged. Opinions are stated, agendas are pushed, accusations spewed, and allegations of heresy declared. Churches are disbanded, communities are broken, and relationships are lost — many abandon their faith altogether.

As a follower of Christ, do you ever feel like you’re still trying to be converted by other Christians? As if your faith isn’t quite good enough — being constantly critiqued, debated, and judged by other believers?
Christian evangelism has become inward focused, obsessed with internal factions where various sects of Christianity jostle for power, recognition, and control.

Instead of focusing on the unreached world with the transformative message of Jesus, churches, theologians, pastors, and parishioners spend their energy and resources trying to convince other Christians — or shame them — in the hope that they’ll reform to their better, more holy, righteous, and perfect “faith.”

Upon learning that a friend, coworker, or acquaintance is a Christian, we tend to immediately ask ourselves: Exactly what kind of Christian are they?

It’s not sufficient that they profess Jesus is Divine and rose from the dead, or that the Bible is inspired, or that they believe in the Trinity. That’s a start, but it’s not good enough. We want to know if they’re exactly the right type of Christian — our preferred type of Christian.

So over time we try to gather the necessary information and intelligence we think will reveal everything we need to know about their faith:What church do they attend? What music do they listen to? What books do they read? What political party do they support? What social causes do they support?

Inevitably, 99 percent of humanity fails to fit into our ideal picture of what a true Christian looks like. But instead of following Jesus’s commands to gracefully love our neighbors — even our enemies — and refrain from judging others, we do the exact opposite.

Is this the type of live-giving, hopeful, joyous, and loving faith we want to share with the world? Is this the message of the Gospel: I’m right and you’re wrong?

Instead of comparing versions of the Bible — tell us what God has been speaking to you.

Instead of complaining about worship styles — tell us about a time you experienced God’s presence.

Instead of criticizing a particular theologian — tell us how God is moving in your life.

Instead of questioning a denomination — tell us what you love about God.

Instead of condemning someone’s beliefs about eternity — tell us how God has changed you.

Instead of arguing over the proper way to facilitate the sacrament of communion — tell us about the ups and downs of your relationship with God.

Instead of preaching about a right or wrong method of baptism — tell us your faith testimony.

Instead of talking about religion, introduce us to God.

Christianity is extremely complex. Thousands of years of varying traditions, practices, events, experiences, and interpretations have shaped, informed, and influenced an infinite number of cultures, communities, and individuals in an incredibly unique way.

This doesn’t mean that Christians should accept everything as being morally admissible. It doesn’t mean that all beliefs and practices have equal merit. It doesn’t mean we live in a world devoid of absolute truth. It doesn’t mean we ignore false teaching and sin. On the contrary, followers of Christ must adhere to truth and orthodoxy.

But we shouldn’t be naïve enough to believe thatonly our particular church, pastor, and favorite theologian is the sole holder of truth, wisdom, and God’s favor.

The most important truth within all of Christianity is God. God exists. God’s real. God's alive today. So why do we as Christians seem to talk about almost everything related to God without actually talking about our relationshipwith God?

Amid a world with unlimited spiritual choices, Jesus is distinctly unique! By introducing Jesus, instead of spewing the ugliness of yet another empty religion, we will reveal the wonderful glory of God.

The Beast of Revelation

    THE BEAST OF REVELATION

No one should mistake the Beast, for when he does appear
These major points he will fulfill, the Bible makes it clear.
The ABYSS will be opened - and from its dungeon depth
The angel king is wakened - where he for ages slept.
With demon hosts he will ascend, like diabolic smoke
To blaspheme God and govern - earth's disbelieving folk.
In God's Temple he will sit, and the world will bow the knee
To its deluded hosts he'll say, "There is no God but me!"
Great wonders will his hand perform; the world will stand aghast.
And yet his reign is very short, and cometh very fast
Two and forty months 'twill be, the prophecy is true
All the world will worship him, except God's chosen few.
Then the armies of the universe, will join in holy war.
And Christ will win the victory, for God's eternal law.
Gazed upon by Heaven's host, the Beast will then be cast
Into a lake of blazing fire, to breath his very last!

Vegetarian sausage oat patties a rendition on a World War II recipe

Vegetarian sausage oat patties rendition on a World War II recipe

🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷
1 c. Uncooked oats
The equivalent of  1 vegetarian egg substitute. Or 1 egg if you eat eggs.
1 tsp. Ground sage
1tsp. Fennel seeds or ground fennel
1tsp. Red hot pepper flakes (optional)
1 tsp. Dried parsley
1tsp. Rosemary crushed or powdered
1 tsp. Garlic powder
1 tsp . Onion powder
3 Tbs water to combined patties
2Tbs. Organic maple syrup for glazed optional
2 c. Vegetarian or vegetable stock
🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖

Preparation:
Combined all the ingredients except maple syrup & vegetable stock.
Form  your patties about 2 inches in diameter. I cook mine on a cast iron skillet with just a little bit of coconut oil, I used refined coconut oil because I don't want my patties to taste like coconut.
Once the patties are well browned on both sides remove them from the pan.
While your doing this you should have a pot of the vegetable broth simmering on the stove.
Go ahead and drop your fried  patties into the  simmering broth.
Cover and simmer about 10 to 15 minutes.
Carefully remove your patties and put them on a plate. At this point you can let them cool down and freeze or refrigerate them.
If you choose to eat them immediately , once the patties are removed from the broth simply put them back on to the cast iron frying pan or your frying pan of choice brown them up and Bone appetit😋
* NOTE:
At the final pan-frying I usually glazed my sausage patties with organic maple syrup before I pan-fry them for the last time and they are so yummy God bless hugs and love to all.
And remember folks no piggy 🐷was harmed for  this recipe😁
With Love ,
Lavina🌷

Honoring God in the home

Honoring God in the Home

     Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16. {TMK 149.1}

     This is what we need in our households. There is in it no fault-finding, no harshness; but peace, and joy, and rest in the Lord. . . . God calls for loving service. He calls upon parents to speak lovingly and tenderly to their children. Let them see that you think they help you. Give them responsibilities to bear, small ones at first, and larger ones as they grow older. Never, never, let them hear you say of them, "They hinder me more than they help me.". . .  {TMK 149.2}
     How many there are who forget that the home is a school in which children are trained to work either for Christ or Satan. Fathers and mothers, remember that every word you speak in the hearing of your children has an influence upon them, an influence either for good or for ill. Remember that if you find fault with one another you are educating your children to find fault.  {TMK 149.3}
     With your children around you, bow before the Father in heaven. Ask Him for help to guard the trust He has given you. Let your petitions be short and earnest. Say, "Heavenly Father, I want my children to be saved. Grant me the aid of Thy Spirit that I may so train them that they may be counted worthy to inherit eternal life." Train your children to offer their simple words of prayer. Tell them that God delights to have them call upon Him.  {TMK 149.4}
     We can subdue our children only as we subdue ourselves. But there are so many parents who have brought with them into the home life their hereditary and cultivated tendencies to wrong. They have not left their childishness behind. They scold their children for things which should never be noticed. Parents, never scold your children. Deal firmly but kindly with them. Keep them busy. Make them feel that they are a part of the family firm, that they can help mother and father. Thank them for what they do for you.  {TMK 149.5}
     Let your home be a place where God is loved and honored.  {TMK 149.6}
